A threat of a court order is IMHO a below the belt move, there was pure speculation on this thread. One's rights and civil liberties have to be protected at any cost at any time or else we'll lose them.

eden, please try to look up and read the mental health act of your state and know your rights as a patient. Personally, I don't think there's anything wrong with feeling magical and wanting to explorer one's own mind, preferably under medical supervision.

Doctors and hospitals have to work with you and for your interest. That is what I consider the basic principle of medical care.

Also, I think it'd be an imperative idea to get your families' support if you're not satisfied with current care that you've been receiving. Current available care may not be the best for you, and some people are biased against unconventional ideas. Find your own evidence.

Eden, that doesn't even make any sense. You aren't thinking in reality there. It isn't magic; it is delusion.

---we get it, the doc gets it. We want you to take meds, call doc so the real or not real thing doesnt tell you to do something no one, including yourself would want you to do.
