This is the 4th time in 6 weeks.
I'm really hurting myself.
I think the cement floor had a little water from sink where I wash my hands. My flip flops are kinda slick. Boom down I went in front of toilet.
3 weeks ago I fell down on the cement stairs and cracked my head hard. I was holding my cat on my shoulder with one hand.
Now I don't carry anything going up and down stairs. Use a backpack.
I fell going up stairs carrying water bottles.
Hurt my knee bad.
I think it's a balance issue. Or not picking up my feet. Or slipping in the rain.
Do you fall or slip? Could temazepam cause this I wonder?

I had flip flops like that- I never fell but my feet would slip from under me.

I've been falling a lot myself recently, I know how much it can hurt. I'm thinking I need to see my PCP to see if something is going on inside my body that's causing it.

Not dizzy. And happens so fast! Like a car crash. I don't even feel it coming till I'm hurt and struggling to get up. This is the third change of flip flops.
I walked barefoot for awhile last night.
But it did happen right after waking up from nightmare when my heart was pounding and I felt all panicked.

Are you well hydrated? Sometimes being a little dehydrated will lower blood pressure, which in turn can cause falls. And yes, your medication could be the culprit...anything that makes you sleepy can contribute to falls. Please see your doctor for a blood-pressure check, and make sure you're drinking enough fluids (at least 2-3 liters per day). Keep us posted.

I started falling and slipping a lot years ago. I have to be very careful. Meds can make it worse depending on the med. please be careful...hitting your head is so dangerous. (((Hugs)))

I know part of my problem is that I also have Spina Bifida. Even though I am completely mobile, my balance at times can be thrown off. Unfortunately it seems that it has gotten worse as I've gotten older.

I do drink lots of water. At least a gallon per day.
I take flashlight and try to be more aware. Thanks.
