Why do I torture myself by going to the grocery store on a Saturday, especially before an apparent snow storm??? I seriously wanted to sucker punch someone.

I just cleaned out my fridge. There is a can of sprite and half a gallon of milk left! I thought to go fill it up at the grocery store but no time. Glad I didn't go now. It's supposed to really snow tomorrow here. Just in time for church. Lovely.

Yeah, we could get up to a foot of snow.

Snowstorm or not, I refer to every grocery shopping day as Doomsday. I feel for you!

Plenty of TP. Check. Milk- not so much. Bread- one loaf. Hmmm

It was kind of a joke. You know they always say to make sure you have plenty of those items on hand during a storm...LOL!!!

I tryed Walmart online. Picking items easy. Spend $50 or more (easy)
Free delivery.
It was great. No driving. Parking. Bags. Anxiety of store.
Just pick stuff and they bring it to your door.

There's two supermarket chains here that have online shopping. We haven't tried it yet but the people who pick up stuff are hopping pretty good. The one thing though is I like to pick out my produce though.
Thanks for this!

The grocery store for me is basically just down the street.

Shopping before a storm...I always get things like the Hormel completes, 90 second rice and other things that only take a microwave cause they have a longer shelf life if the power goes out. Never understood that bread and milk thing. Water..that I could understand...batteries, yup that makes sense. Caned soup is supposed to be ok out of the can without heating it up. We went shopping yesterday to beat the storm and it wasn't too bad. Tons of seniors there in the electric carts. Got frozen foods too, cause here you can just stick them outside and they'll stay frozen.

Yeah, it's pretty damn cold here too. I've got the heat cranked up.

Ha ha, I do that too. I hate grocery shopping so the more I buy in one go the less I need to go.

I've always had at least one of my 3 kids helping but not today. All are busy.
