Although personally I did good, despite lost illusions and few broken friendships...
But globally it was one crazy year. Crazy in bad way. So I wish there is less bad news on my life feed in 2017 and peace in my part of world. I wish that we don´t crumble and for better mood in the whole society. 2016 has been eventful... but one can handle only so much. And I wish myself lots of strenght for doing the right things. I will still need it.

I am hoping this too. There's been too many losses for me....deaths, broken relationships and friendship issues, problems on the job, both manic and depressive episodes, broken plans and dreams that I've had, troubling societal issues.....I hope 2017 is not as rocky and brings some good things (for everyone).

Who is with me we will need a shallow and petty thread to cope with upcoming year? I will restart it after the break is over...
Yeah, 2017 will be probably even worse. According to chinese horoscope the upcoming year will be uberdramatic, struggles and fighting. I guess we all will need lots strenght or humor to cope...

We're discussing years sucking (& I know we're not supposed to discuss politics until Sunday), but 2017 might REALLY suck (LIKE "END OF THE WORLD SUCK") given the political changes in the States.

I don't think 2017 will be better. I lost my grandpa earlier this year, and both of my grandmas aren't doing so well. Their health is failing. Same with my aunt, who just lost her husband. (I think he's considered my uncle?) Been to too many funerals.
But besides that, my mental health isn't doing so well. I feel like it's going to get worse before it gets better. |

As far as I'm concerned, 2016 can go suck an egg. So many talented people have died this year, and so did my husband. The presidential campaign was a hot mess and lasted all freaking year. Too many tragedies, like the shooting at Pulse and other acts of terrorism.
I've had enough. Welcome 2017!

The only way 2016 can be a little bit redeemed is if the little grey men stop by and pick up all the trumps and their GOP's friends and take off for parts unknown.
