I found an online free philosophy class at MIT. It's on philosophy, conciousness and the existence of God. I've finished the first lecture and video. It is thought provoking. It's not so much about finding the answers but exploring who I am with critical thinking. I am also looking for a job and have joined a gym and quit AA. I feel free to explore and change my life-re-create myself. Anyone else trying anything new? I may travel to France next month.

Didn't you say that you were recently put on Effexor and you were feeling extremely better since being on it? If I'm referring to the correct person/thread, you may want to keep an eye on your behavior. Sounds like you're swinging up to the hypo side as a reaction to this AD.

Any particular reason you quit AA? I haven't been going recently, as I'm having trouble finding a meeting where I "click."

Nothing as great as traveling to France. But I have been there. I rented a private home instead of hotel. Great. Got to go to a local farmers market and cook at home.
Took the train. Did buy a medium size suitcase for train travel. The people were especially nice. I heard they didn't like "ugly Americans". But they were great. Lots to see. The roof is being painted this week.

It sounds like things are going great for you. Enjoy exploring. I think it always breathes life into us when we learn something new.
