I'm starting college on Monday.... first time I have been to college in 14 years. I'm also going to start a med change (Quetiapine XR halfing to 75mg and Aririprazole upping to 10-15mg). I'm a little bit anxious... okay I'm massively anxious. Plus I'm working on homework from my Psychologist. Least I'm seeing her weekly now rather than fortnightly. Homework is making me anxious incase it's wrong.

Any wise words of wisdom to fet me through the weekend and Monday?

You got this, be strong and walk in with your head held high.
I know you will be ok.

Thanks guys!

Bizi, we start in August and January. Normally January is for teenagers who weren't 16 until after August. Most courses in January are short lived courses. Mines is only 16 weeks. I don't have any material to read etc all I know is that my first class is Numeracy, the classroom and the tutor. That is it. I had to miss the induction morning due to a Psychiatrist appointment.

On the up side everyone is a mature student, who has a mental health disorder, who will all probably be anxious too... so kinda hanging onto these thoughts

I DID IT!!!

I got to college at 8:20am and left at 4pm. I managed a whole day at college!! I had 3 classes today Numeracy and ICT (9-1pm) in the same classroom. Then lunch 1-2pm and then IT 2-4pm. I'm sooooo chuffed I managed it and my anxieties although high stayed at bay. I didn't need to get up and leave the class or anything. I'm chilling tonight after a crazy day :-)

Awesome, glad to hear your first day went really well. College is awesome, I just started my 2nd semester 2 weeks ago. It does feel good to relax after a long day
