Is anyone else here super sensitive to missing just a day or two of any of your meds? Or when taking a lower dose than normal on a particular day?

Specifically, I'm super sensitive to not taking the full 600 mg of Seroquel daily. I had a 300 mg pill last night instead of the full 600 mg, and all day I've had really bad racing thoughts. It's strange to me that just a day of not taking the full dose, I'm noticeably unstable. I've been struggling all along, but I was noticing 600 mg has made somewhat of a positive difference compared to before. Do you notice a difference when you forget or skip?

I am super sensitive to any changes in my medications or schedules. I take the same meds at the same dose at the same time each day. If I forget anything, I'm aware of it within hours, because _something_ will feel off. Either I'll notice it or my wife will.

Yes, I have often forgotten to take my venlafaxine, and sometimes don't know weather I took it or not so I don't. I get really really dizzy and disoriented and feel drunk or hungover when this happens.

Yes. It depends on the psych drug in question, but...I can't ever forget the Lamictal. I probably won't ever be able to get off that bad boy.

I've noticed it some with Lamictal. Usually takes awhile to figure it out though. You know, like when I take my PM meds and there sit the Am ones. Oooooh, THAT'S why I was kind of off today! I seem to be ok with a lesser amount (I *think*), but having none, that I tend to notice.

I had to increase my rexulti because my zyprexa was being decreased and I got feelings of guilty and depression.

I am sensitive to missing Geodon - I get psychotic symptoms.

I plan to have dinner right before bedtime from now on, so that I take ALL the meds at once (Geodon needs to be taken with food dinner).

I'm on a really short leash. I can get away with missing my morning meds (although I get a bit squirrely in the afternoon if I don't take the meds within a few hours of missing them). But if I miss my nighttime pills, I'm a wreck by morning. I basically experience the entire bipolar spectrum in one day. Needless to say, I don't forget my night meds very often!

In Thanksgiving I tried decreasing my dose of clozapine from 250 to 200 and within two days was hypomanic. If I outwright skip a dose I won't be able to sleep at all and the next day will probably start having manic or mixed manic symptoms along with withdrawal symptoms.
Thanks for this!
