Title says it all.
I'm sure is the medicines. Or it could be an ulcer, but I have to eat contantly now.
I exercise during the day and gain it all back at night.
I crave sugar. Specially ice cream an pies. I changed to cereal now, but still, three bowls of cereal seem excesive.

What's your secret to stop this?. Thank for your replies. LuV. Rock on.

Have you seen a doctor? I have GERD and I was eating every couple of hours because when my stomach was empty it hurt. Too much stomach acid, so now I take an acid reducer and don't feel the need to eat all the time just to settle my stomach.

But I still can't stop eating in the middle of the night sometimes. At least I've gotten a handle on how much I eat. Next step is to stop doing it altogether.

I lost 70 lbs on meds. My main "secret" is Weight Watchers, but I'll give you a tip: snack on veggies at night. Quite often I'll have peas or green beans. If you have a large bowl of veggies, it will fill you up. But I agree with bizi, make sure you are having enough protein and healthy fats, too. If you want something sweet, have an apple or other fruit. Make sure you're drinking plenty of water, too. Good luck!

I should mention it to the doctor.
I'm eating a lot of protein. Problem is after the night meds.
Fat is good and bad. Lots of olive oil, but also saturated fat from pork.
Thank you for your question.

I may have it. Although my eating is mainly after the night pills. Stomach hurts yes. Will discuss with the doctor. Thank you for your input.

Protein, yes, too much. It's all I eat. And a lot of white rice.
Fruits and veggies are for the horses, haha. Kidding!.
I can't stand either. So I get 'em thru Naked juices.
I drinking more milk than water. Will try to drink more juice.
Thank you for your reply. Nice hearing from you.

becareful with the juices, they promote sugar spikes and lead to cravings.
tomato juice has the lowest in carbs but is also not tolerated by some.
cauliflower is a good veggie, very mild in taste, nice when you put cheese on it!
It is a cancer preventing food. You can mash it like potatoes!

No boredom here. I've pinpointed is after the pills now.

I'm taking .25 xanax 100 mg lamotrigine ( I know is not working, but is a condition to have Abilify) and 2 Vistaril capsules. There's something in there that produces pain in my stomach and makes me crave sweets.
Thank you por your reply.

Yeah. I'd always go with the pills as the cause. Ambien and Seroquel both gave me night/sweet hunger. My body's never tricked by carrot sticks or water by the way.

A bowl of mixed veggies is a good idea. I've been avoiding eating at night, as I always want a fourthmeal.

If I get hungry, I just have a protein shake. Its not that high in calories. I suppose those carrots in the fridge aught to get eaten though....

I just thought of another trick when you're feeling "snacky": chewing sugarless gum. I'm currently chewing some Trident bubblegum flavor to keep from snacking too much tonight. It also helps if you have a little bit of acid reflux.
