This week I have been supporting my ex-husband (who I am now good friends with - we broke up 4.5 years ago) through a really tough time. He also has bipolar and is dealing with a break up, depressive symptoms with bouts of hypomania. He has also had severe SI. I saw him Monday and have been in touch regularly since to check on him. He called his pdoc and is to be admitted to hospital for treatment on Monday. I am taking him to hospital as he has no one else who will do it. It has been stressful but I am happy to help him and really hope the IP stay helps him stabilise.

I think that's ashame.

people can be so ungrateful, and i've experienced that first hand, where i've helped/ supported someone, then they not only don't thank you, bu or do anything to help you, but mess up what you helped them with questioning why you even helped them in the first place.
