I havn't cried ....really cried in over a year.....until today.
My heart is broken.
My doggy has cancer.Its bad.
The vet said theres nothing we can do .Its too advanced.
I hope this doesnt take me on a downslide.....Im devistated.
Im hanging on by my fingernails trying not to "self sooth"...in an unheathy way.
Well,at least I know I can cry.

I'm so sorry to hear that.. Nobody should have to go through that, but it's such a shame that a dog's life span is so short.

And yes, crying helps. Listening to music does too. When my dog passed away, I listened to a lot of songs that reminded me of the day when I got him and other good memories.

Much, much strength to you.

I am so sorry that your dog has been diagnosed with cancer. I know ours was just as much a part of the family as any other one of us.

I hope you let yourself cry as it may relieve some of the grief you are feeling. My heart goes out to you as I understand how devastating this news can be.

I havent cried.... I havent cried.... I havent cried.... I havent cried.... I havent cried....

I am sooooooo sorry to hear about your dog's dx...I really hope that you can get through this without self soothing (I know how it is). Cry...maybe you will be able to relieve yourself that way but if you can't please talk to someone before you do anything else.

Remember we are here for you and we are thinking of you during your time of need.

I am so very sorry about your dog's illness. Please try to take good care of yourself, too.

Hugs,

I'm so sorry Dreamrunner. I've always loved my pups as though they were my kids - I understand how you must be feeling. Did you ever hear of the Rainbow Bridge? It's a place where our critter friends wait for us until it's our time to pass over - they meet us there and cross over with us. Your pup will be waiting there for you and so glad to see you again. Many blessings, Etheria

I think Im slipping into a depression again.Seen gp today for monthly visit and he knew right away that I was depressed.I hadnt even opened my mouth and he knew.
I told him about my dog and he actually teared up.Hes a dog lover too.He said the meds will help for depression so it wont get too bad.
Im feeling pretty bad and Im not coping well.Very impulsive like I could do something stupid.
See T tomorrow.Thats probably a good thing.
I hate this curse....the depression lies to you and sometimes I feel that the docs are lying about getting well again.
I just feel sometimes like why try....its only gonna get better for a while...and then your miserable again.Setting myself up for another fall. I havent cried....

Please hang in Dreamrunner. I get what you're saying and feeling. When I'm in that place and people tell me that I will come out the other end, I think to myself - yup, I'll come out the other end then nose dive again. It's a crappy way to have to live hon but remember some of the good experiences you've had and can have again when you're not so depressed. I'm pulling for ya. With thoughts and many blessings, Etheria
