I am on edge. I don't like it. I feel like I have motivation, but just want to lie in my bed and watch TV. God, this is awful
I used to take 300mg Lamictal, and eventually cut it down to 250.
My Wellbutrin was 300, and I went to 400 and was downright angry, so I went down to 350.

I cycle so often, that I always have to tweak my meds.

It is like a living hell. I have motivation (not a ton, but more thatn when I am in a depressive ep)

I don't have much patience

My go-to lately is to go lie in bed and watch tv

I am so miserable that I am thinking about having a glass of wine just to see if it helps me feel bettwr. I am at my wits end.

I also take 10mg Lexapro,

My question is
Should I up my Lamictal bc I think this is just a really bad mixed state
or maybe up my Lexapro bc maybe I need a little more ssri?

I am ALWAYS on top of my meds. I know when to lower, increase, etc for a long time. My doc trusts my judgement but I am lost with this one.

Suggestions??????

Sounds miserable. Sorry you are experiencing this.

My go-to is also bed and tv right now and I try so hard to fight it.

Your question about tweaking meds is a good question for your pdoc.
Your pdoc knows you and your history.

I hope you feel better soon.

I would just say not to drink with your meds. All kinds of confusion happens when you mix alcohol in.
Sorry I don't have better advice.
Feel better soon.

I would not advise upping any kind of AD when edgy and or agitated.
IME that makes it worse... You want to mellow it out, not ramp it up.

If you don't take calming meds, how bout trying calming supplements, teas or something similar?

Chamomile, lavender and ginger has helped me in different forms in the past...

Everyone is different but Wellbutrin helps me at 150 mg per day but made me absolutely manic at 300 mg per day. I tried 300 mg for four days in a row. I was getting 1-3 hours of sleep and the 4th night I barely got one hour of sleep. So I stopped taking that dose and slept OK the 5th night. It also made me more anxious. I still have the other 26 pills--if I ever need to pull an all nighter--I have the means.....

I was put on it a few months ago after a stimulant binge left my dopamine drained and depressed. I take 150mg a day and I did get mixed on it but my pdoc wanted me to ride it out. I think as long as you're taking a AP and stabilizer with it then you have less likely hood of getting manic.

I think it would be best to tell your pdoc what you want to do. I'm sorry you're having such a tough time. I'm on 450 mg of Wellbutrin but must be so depressed that it doesn't activate me. Good luck getting your meds straightened out.
