Hey I didn't realise I had created 2 threads. Sorry.... wasn't my intention. I use my phone and it's difficult to see posts at times.

I'm not due to see my Psychiatrist until July. I'm seeing my Psychologist on the 10th and my Community worker on the 11th and my CPN on the 12th.

I guess I'll chat to them then? I don't like calling them up for trivial things

This is major risk-taking behaviour. If you are a diagnosed bipolar individual this certainly would meet one of the criteria. But, how are you doing elsewise? Are you irritable? Are you having trouble concentrating? Are you elated? All these would suggest you are at least hypomanic. Of course, you probably wouldn't recognise if you were experiencing delusions.

I am concerned about this meeting. Sounds sketchy. Ask yourself why you are doing this. Is it for your own sake? Or is it for his? Do you feel you need to do this because it's expected of you.

I've two experiences with meeting men online. One disasterous. I was taken. The second was a more low key meeting with no expectations. This one turned into something. At no time though did I feel I 'must' have the meeting or under any pressure to respond.

The decision is ultimately yours but I get a really bad vibe about all this and think he should stay full time at that hotel and you should only meetup in a public place for meals and perhaps a nice film. Or better yet, he stay in his country all together and you allow yourself more time to get to know his intentions as well as your own. (((Hugs)))
Thanks for this!

Yes I definitely have bipolar... I don't think I'm irratated or have concentration problems. I'm definitely mildly manic though.
