What do you do when you "don't feel right"?
I don't know my mental state right now. I just know that something is "off". I've felt this way for the past few days, though, and I had even left my pdoc a voicemail on Saturday night. Since he doesn't work Mondays, he will not return my call until Tuesday night. Technically, this is not an "emergency" where I need immediate help from him, so I'm not going to bother trying to get in contact immediately. What do you guys do? How do you "figure out" what is wrong with you? |

Honestly, and this might be terrible, I wait to see which direction I go. Is it a problem or am I just a little off and it will right itself. I also ask my husband and friends if they notice anything off about me. They are used to looking for changes too.

I wait patiently and watch to see more about whatever is going on.
If I feel way off, I am likely to take a break-- quiet time to myself. I sometimes ask myself questions to try to narrow down more about what's going on. Am I angry? Sad? Disappointed? Lonely? Overwhelmed? etc. I look for possible triggers. Sometimes, I get some very helpful insights. I hope you get some helpful clues soon. ![]() WC |

I just wait and see what happens. Almost always that I feel like that I end up in depression.

I'm glad you called your pdoc to discuss your situation even though you won't speak to him/her until Tuesday. When I don't feel quite right I keep a close eye on myself over the next several days to see what's going on.

I'm in that state now. Usually I just power through the weird **** until it's over or has morphed into something hypo or depressed.

Take care of myself until it plays out. Sometimes it's a med issue so I'll try and contact my pdoc.
Hope you got help today. ![]() |
