I'm having flashbacks from my recent suicide attempt. I must have gotten violent in the ER because I'm remembering being told they were going to strap me down. I think I might have been but how do I know for sure? I had a bruise on my ankle but maybe I ran into something? I overdosed on over 60 .5 mg klonopin. I also think they pumped my stomach. Will I ever have answers? How do I I get past the trauma? I'm in the process of trying to get therapy, I'm waiting to hear from a caseworker, what should I do in the meantime?

I hope you get a therapist right away. You've got a lot to work through. I don't know what to suggest you do in the meantime, though. I'm glad you're active here, there are a lot of wise people in the forum.

Maybe journal about flashbacks when they come up?
Maybe join a support group?
Maybe look into NAMI groups?

Yes, hook up with a therapist as soon as possible.

Stay safe.
