Yes, the summertime blues, absolutely, YES! I feel the very most comfy in rainy-stormy-at least lowery skies-type of weather. Yet. Perhaps the thing you're (OP), refer to more, is the madding crowds. The excess of activities? The brashness, the #summerinjuries, it's all too much, really. Plus, in the Northern Hemisphere, there's the heat, the relentless sunshiney daze? I so get that, as well. Plus, in many New England families, it's very common to have that pressure-during fair weather, no matter what-to get the hell outside!!! The pressure! A rainy weather is such a relief, so inherently soothing for me, somehow...peace out all, love

In the old days I would have a lot of anxiety in the summer because I wasn't doing all the things I could or should have been doing. Mowing the lawn, painting the house, going to the beach, kayaking, hiking, whatever. Now I rejoice in my sloth and just enjoy soaking up the sunshine in my backyard without guilt or fear. I used to suffer from some pretty serious seasonal depression in the spring, but that seems to have evened out, although I don't know why. I am sorry you are suffering and wish you the best.
