Positive Things I've done today #6

I just played my trivia challenge and got 8/ 10

if I followed my instincts about one of the answers being china, it would have been 9... but 8's not bad at all

Yesterday I got a bunch of cleaning done and grocery shopping despite being exhausted. Still have a lot to do, but got a good bit done.

Made it to a restaurant for coffee today. Made an additional payment on the principle of my bank loan. Drove my daughter to school.

I took a shower. Going to go to the podiatrist in a bit to get my toe checked out. Maybe I can stop bandaging it all the time. I finally emailed my GP about an xray that showed a nodule on my lung that may or may not have been caused by my shirt. Been putting that off for a month cause I don't want to find out. Yeah it's lame but I got enough health stuff to worry about right now.

Saw T and bought groceries for the next week and a half.

I used to get up and stumble to the coffee maker. Now I have to wind around two cats demanding breakfast.

I think that for the first time in ages I am deep down, totally, completely happy.
What a feeling!

I worked on my car, my wife's car, charged the batteries of my flashlights (many, I'm a flashaholic), tested new equipment, played candy crush, poker and had time for a short nap. All in a day's work.

Showered, washed and dried hair (Been struggling with the hairwashing) worked, came home, made dinner...just cheeseburgers, did dishes. Chillaxing now

took laundry out and put some away.

Got my Mum out the hospital for a few hours. She's been in hospital for 3 months now. It's my Dad's 65th Birthday so we went out for a meal for lunch. She did fab and we all had a great time out. Hopefully she will be home by the Summer (June- July time)

I worked out, went for a walk, went to the library and wrote a short story, and picked up some meds from the pharmacy.

Im adulting today! Positive and productive lol

I got a few groceries to cheer up the next few days. I straightened out my bus pass. I had to activate it. I lost it a week ago and have been waiting for the replacement to arrive in the mail. I've explained the situation to bus drivers all week and none of them made me pay! How nice! My replacement card arrived today and tomorrow i can ride with ease!

Showered and made it to work ON TIME. Made supper, washed all the dishes and cleaned the bottom shelf of the fridge, something had leaked all over it!

Realized that I have my whole life ahead of me
And that life will be wonderful

I went to the post office and mailed a package to my husband and i picked up my meds.

I didn't to much at all today except pick up my meds.

Washing all my bedding today and I'm going to clean up the kitchen.

Saw a man in the mall struggling with crutches and a giant coffee and helped him to his seat. My good deed for the day!

I did a load of laundry.
I'm also resting from a sinus infection.

I am re-evaluating my life. I know that I do my best thinking when I do nothing, when I stand still...but sometimes my brain is like a big freight train - impossible to stop
I need to slow down and listen to my inner-self.

I went to an art class today. I also made cinnamon rolls (from the package ) and organized my meds for the week.

I took a shower today. I had ordered in Greek and the meal was so good i got some relief from my depression and was able to tackle my hated shower.

I also shaved away a Winter's worth of body hair from my pits and legs. I've been delaying it as my tub drain is already slow and i didn't want to plug it. So i just used a basin of water to rinse my razor and dumped it down the toilet. It worked out well.

Now i can use our pool. I'm sure my doctor who prescribed exercise for me will see it as the best option so i'm going to make an effort.

So nice to have comfy pits and glowing legs!

I went out to an art drop-in today and started a sketch of a little monkey huddled in the rain holding a large leaf over himself. It was good to get out. My bag of brand new art supplies has been sitting in my hallway since the Summer.

I vacuumed the living room and bedroom.
I'm also making dinner tonight.
I've been studying for my final.
