Mine was Zoloft when I was 10 for PTSD. Worked great. When I was 17, it made me manic.

Late '70's - Amitriptyline. All tricyclics make my depression worse.

Close to 40 years of trying to find the right drug combination.

I'm pretty sure it was paxil. Can't be 100% certain since it was over 20 years ago when I was a kid. Funny story, a few years ago I stumbled across an article stating that paxil was dangerous for kids!

Therapist I was seeing in conjunction with the psychiatrist said kids couldn't have bipolar disorder. He was wrong!
