Been having a bit of downs lately but the anxiety is the worst. It mainly has to do with driving and other mother ****ers on the road that can't drive. It just makes me so angry and I get so anxious. My pdoc says to take calm aid which is lavender oil in pill form. ffs. I swear to god I'm sick of paying for supplements. My meds are free right now cause I met my out of pocket max on my insurance. I'm already taking saffron and sensoril too, not sure if they're doing jack ****.

My pain levels have been super high. They posted my MRI results on the drs website today and i have 3 discs in my neck that have degenerative disc disease and 1 disc that's extruded. SO MUCH FOR MY ****ING DRS IDEA THAT IT WAS ONLY GOING TO BE ARTHRITIS. gah it makes me mad. Like I'm not sure how to explain this pain I'm in. I can't do jack ****. I'm lucky if I get our meals done 3 times a day. I don't want to be put on narcotics, but if they could pump me full of cortisone every 4-5 weeks I'd be fine with that. It makes me rage though so I'm not sure my husband would like that.

Anyways things kinda suck right now. My IBS has been bad and the bentyl I take for it makes me a bit agitated.

I did start with a new therapist though so maybe he can help.

I just want everything to ****ing work.

Sorry to hear about the MRI results. My mom had herniated discs and I know that she had to go on oxycodone for it because it was so painful (I had never seen her cry before), so I can only imagine what you're going through.

Can the drs do anything about the disc disease? My mom went to a chiropractor and felt much better after messed up discs in her back, but it's not quite the same thing as you, so I don't know. She also got a steroid injection to help ease the pain.

I hope you feel better soon! I get agitated from bentyl too.

I've been being pumped full of cortisone for a few years now. I'm hoping that's what they'll do. Idk if there's any other options. Will have to wait to see the dr on the 9th. Spent all night trying to get my pain down. Got it down to a 7.5 but it's slowly creeping back. Gonna have some lunch then lay down for a while and take some more god damn muscle relaxers. I really don't know what else to do. I feel so ****ing useless. I just want to cry.

I have degenerative disc disease and bulging discs on my lower back. Muscle relaxers and nerve blocks didn't work, so not sure what pain management will do for me.

Sorry to hear that you're hurting.

My mother has anxiety, as do I, and she also experiences a lot of anxiety over how people drive when she's out. Her reactions are so funny to me, though, that I laugh really hard out loud. Usually, that will make her start laughing. I'm laughing so hard just thinking about it and the stupid stuff people do on the road. People drive so crazy. I saw two people turn from lanes that were not turning lanes today, and for some reason that just has me crying laughing.

I don't know if there's any way for you to see the humor in how people drive. Obviously, accidents are not funny, but some of the other stuff...you can shake your head and laugh at how utterly stupid it is.
