My friend hadn't had an episode for many years and extreme stress must have brought on this episode. Been to Dr Psych many times over last 8 weeks. They say it is Rapid Cycling BP. Some days you think we're on the mend and it all reverts back again with something else new. At present symptoms are chewing tablets and not swallowing them. Not eating much not drinking a lot and not able to sit down at all. We even stand in the Dr surgery. Dr has added Valium to mix. Other meds are lithium, Epilim, Abilify. Help would be greatly appreciated if anyone else knows anything about these symptoms. Haven't got another Dr appointment for 10 days. Thanks
Hugs from:

I'm sorry you're having such a tough time. It sounds like your friend needs to be IP. I've not heard of those symptoms. Good luck getting to the bottom of it. You're a good friend. Best wishes.

Deep down in my heart I think I know this already but have not got the stamina for an ugly confrontation at this time. This happened many years ago and still gets brought up from time to time. Thanks for the hug

Can you go with to the Pdoc appt ? If so that would offer good information for the Doctor to know.

I spoke to my friends Dr today. My friend had bad reaction against Cogentin which helps with Akasthasia caused by Abilify. Dr prescribed other medication Proponosol I think that is how it is spelt it is a beta blocker. Any way I think this is working (all full of hope at present) will let you know how it goes.
Thanks for this!

Omg the excitement on the Proponolol was short lived. The next day I saw my friend he was slurring his speech so much I was worried and then he started falling asleep whilst talking to him. I have left this med out today to see if things improve tomorrow. I feel sorry for you guys having to try out all these horrible drugs until you find something that works.
