I'm sorry I'm so difficult to understand. My own mania plus ADHD are making me lose track of everything lately, especially conversations. I'll attempt to be more clear
Chris' husband DIDN'T bail on her!

How you got that from her mentioning he went to visit the kids is just beyond me.

Hopefully its just a really poor choice of words on your part, because that is a really shytti and insensitive thing to insinuate never mind state directly.

Chris, I'm really sorry this beast and all its spawn of Satan type trimmings are not leaving you to just be.

Sorry if I've seemed really quiet, been trying to give you some space and to hopefully avoid you possibly feeling cornered.

You have my digits, use em as much or as little as you need to.

Love you sis

To bail does not necessarily mean to leave forever; in the context I used, it means to make a timely exit for your own good but not necessarily forever. I see that my words WERE poorly chosen and perhaps misinterpreted. I did read that he went to visit others(kids). Everyone that are now jumping at me detracts from her pain and creates worse issues altogether. Just ignore everything I've said here and focus on the OP, please.

To "bail" infers that someone has escaped, jumped ship, whether they come aboard again or not is irrelevant.

Him visiting the kids is not a way to escape Chris, but it does give Chris room to breath and just be whatever she needs to be in that moment.

That's very different from bailing.

Not detracting from the topic, Just stating the above in case you are unaware, so you can avoid the same type of verbal blunder in future.

I really hate your dealing with this. I can not afford therapy either. I have not had mania all year. But use to take Haldol and Benadryl for it as instructed by my pdoc. (((((Hugs))))

I’m curious about Thorazine. I’m already on a AP for mania but every now and then I get mixed and totally lose my ****. Angry, crying, cringing, ahhhhh. I really don’t have a PRN for when I get like that. Just Ativan but that rarely helps when I’m that bad.

What would you compare Thorazine too?

Thorazine is ole school , it works for maybe as a Prn , just can’t use it too often as your body will adjust easily.

I will say the next day Thorazine hang over is awful , ugh

Do have a high dose depakote prn? It's not a sedative, but it has been known to be used to break acute manic episodes, perhaps in combination with thorazine or haldol. I'd stay away from benzos as much as possible.

I used to be on haldol for maintenance twice a day. It's not a bad idea, but I, also, wouldn't go for it without a cogentin script just in case, if I was going to take it regularly.

I just need to breakdown and call my Pdoc tomorrow.

I’m just being stubborn because this is situational, but I think this has long passed situational.

It’s ok. Sometimes real life can be triggering in itself. I’ve been there and I definitely understand it. If you need meds then you need meds. Nothing wrong with it. (Sorry if that made no sense lol. Night time meds kicking in)

I'm gonna be asking tomorrow if you called....I just really care about you and you have been fighting SO hard to deal with this **** and it's not fair to you to be suffering. Just call pdoc to get in earlier appointment than what you have scheduled. Try to get something to fight this crap off so you can have some Peace. You deserve it. Please?

Love ya!

I finally broke down called my Pdoc today I see her on Thursday..

Can anyone say "mixed" I hate that the sun is out and Im snappy at my husband something awful. Then I cry randomly. He knows I am in a mess so he knows its not "me"

So a additional med maybe or she will think IP is best ... I dont care I have no problem going IP if needed..

I just need to feel better, asap !

Hope the appointment goes well. I was in a mixed state hell for 8 months in 2015. The only thing that helped was saphris and doing hippy *****.

Also I find classic rock helps my brain for some weird reason.

So .......

Pdoc and I decided to try Geodon. She’s putting me back on Xanax instead of Valium.

And go back in a month. Or if this doesn’t help go IP, so I’m okay with this plan.

I opened my car door and you know how it sometimes starts coming back ? Yeah I punched the shyt out of it .

Ugh. This anger needs to quit grrrrrrrrrrrr

Thanks for all support everyone

I’m hopefully this combo works.
