I never heard of this one until recently.

Havent been diagnosed but been suggested to examine it, I line-up for it more than BP. Probably have both.

Ive always felt I have other things lurking, but ruled out Borderline as missing the top symptoms.

I’ve noticed the Hystrionic forum is usually pretty quiet. They’re all out being fabulous?

My mom would never go to a psy, but I think she’d get diagnosed Narcissistic/Hystrionic.

I read a lot of myself in many disorders. But, several psychiatrists, psychologists, and therapists (I have seen at least a dozen over the years) said I do not get any diagnosis. I feel good about that. I have been teetering around thinking I have BPD. But, I am under great stress from a difficult relationship.

I think I have some elements of many things; I did the quiz on this site and it suggested BPD, equal to the bipolar. I don’t know. You would think then that I would be seeking out friends and boyfriends, but I don’t. I’m happy just having a job and my daughter (college student).

I don’t think my pdoc is interested in this, but I will explore it with my new therapist, in case there is something that can be done.

Do you have a therapist? I decided to start up again after reading so many posts of people going to therapy.
Thanks for this!

Went to a therapist briefly years ago. Have an appt on the 17th because I have to see the therapist for xxx visits before I can get a pdoc appt. Wondering what it'll be like.

My last T and I didnt work out so trying to find a new one. Id like to find one who specializes in personality disorders, but my insurance is hard to navigate so trying to figure it out. Since I procrastinate so much anything that takes effort, takes a lot of time.
