I am happy and doing ok. I have no major issues now. I take my medication daily. I have been able to work. I live independently and don't feel lonely. I enjoy what life has to offer. I try to stay out of trouble. I am happy with what I have. I appreciate the life God gave me. I don't have much materialistically nor am I special in any way. I am an ordinary person who is battling a severe disorder and am surviving. I am grateful for being alive and healthy to a certain extent.

Houston beat New York to push the series to a seventh game. I hate the Yankees!

We had parent teachers interviews last week and both my boys are rocking it. My son is in his final year of high school and he is getting straight A's. Even with his mental health issues and trying different meds. I am SO proud of him.

Saturdays in the fall always take my mind off things, with college football on tap. My alma mater plays tonight at 7:30...I'll look forward to that game all day as I try to get a little work done around the house.

I agree with Woolly Bugger...Go Astros! I'll be flipping the channel changer back & forth between football & baseball (Game 7!!!).

Took up a new hobby...pressing flowers and making/selling pictures @ local craft shows. Also, took up reading again...

I fed the birds today, and my cat and I enjoyed watching the birds.

We saw the resident squirrel run through the back yard. After living here for 18 years, we finally have two squirrels (different species) and a chipmunk! We’ve never seen any in our yard before

I've been thinking about taking up bird watching,

A it would help with my agoraphobia because I'll actually be outside, and secondly I don't have to do it for long, and I don't have to move far, so it might actually be good to use it as a training exercise lol

My college football team won yesterday, but I don't much care for the NFL, so I'll try to get outside today. I live in Michigan & it's supposed to be 75 degrees today! That's unheard of for this time of year!

Oh, that sounds like just the thing!!

We didn’t know we have hummingbirds around here until this year. I had made some poppy umbrellas (spray paint the top center of a red umbrella black, wrap stick with green duct tape, make a leaf with green duct tape, pop umbrella inside out) to protect new plantings. I felt so bad when i saw hummingbirds trying to feed off of the umbrellas!

I bought hummingbird feeder. Sugar water is cheap to make (one cup sugar to four cups water, boil to keep it from spoiling so quickly). I clean the hummingbird feeder with vinegar, and store the sugar water in a glass pitcher in the refrigerator. It’s a little fussy, but I love these little birds.

OK, today I improved a little more. I’m actually in the middle of planting tulip bulbs I ordered at a tulip festival (I was feeling pretty good back then). I thought maybe they would go to waste because of my recent downturn and lack of any energy, but man, I can’t believe I’m actually feeling good enough to work in the yard!!
!
I’m 2/3 the way through, taking a coffee break. I cannot wait for these tulips to come up. They are huge! Tall “salmon” colored ones, so bright they are almost fluorescent!

The only good news I have today is that I'm still alive. But lately that is not good news. Just trying to get through this god awful pain.

Speaking of bird watching, a bald eagle flew by as I was trout fishing this afternoon. What a bonus! I live near Cape Cod, and we don't get them very often down here. Oh, and I caught seven trout. What a wonderful day!

birds are so underrated

I mean where I'm from in england, so many people are quick to scare the birds off or close the window when they start to sing

but birds are beautiful!

and when they sing it is so nice
i don't know if you've ever been up early enough to hear the birds sing the dawn chorus... beautiful.

absolutely beautiful

I am the only person in my family who enjoys the birds, my brother, in particular, can't see the atraction to them.

I admit i'm a little anxious, but that's my fault.

I didn't check what kind of jelly it was before ordering.

if it's like dessert jelly, I can't eat it (I hate the stuff)

but, if it's fruit jelly (like in gummy bears etc), then I will enjoy it.

I don't know why I didn't read the product description... ah well

My two sons are doing so great in school. My daughter is having a hard time keeping up with the other kids in her class. But she is learning.

I recently reactivated my Facebook account after two years. I know people say that it is toxic, but I have a lot of friends there that were happy to see me.

It has been a positive experience so far.
