I got my flu shot on friday and am still feeling crappy. Usually they don't effect me this bad. All I want to do is curl up in bed and eat a sheet cake.
I managed to go to church today to count the offering and to the shake club for an hour so I could be around people, but i feel wiped. All the muscles in my body hurt. I wish my husband was home so he could make dinner tonight and give me a massage. I even got enough sleep last night too. Hope i feel better tomorrow cause I'm supposed to go out with someone for lunch.

Oh, dear, I hope you feel better soon.
 My doctors insist I have a flu shot because I am on immune suppressants. I put it off because I still have a hyped up "immune reaction" to the shot. I need to get it done.  ((((( Moreta )))))) Sending positive mojo.  WC

This years shot didn't even cause swelling for either mum or me. You must have a super sensitive immune system

I got mine two days ago and my arm
Is swollen, hot and sore.

I've gotten one every year...sore arm for a day but never sick...and no flu or the invariable pneumonia that used to put me in the hospital.

I didn't have hardly any reaction to this year's vaccine. I rarely do. I've gotten a flu shot every year since 1992, which was the last time I got the flu. I developed bronchitis and pneumonia that winter that landed me in the ER several times for breathing treatments and IV steroids (I have asthma as well). It's so worth it to me to put up with minor discomfort in order to avoid all of that. After 22 years in nursing, my immune system is strong enough to fight off squirrels in the back yard. So sorry you're feeling poorly Moreta.

I get a flu shot every year and usually I'm perfectly fine except for a day or two of arm owies. One year though I got it in the morning before work and had to go home within a couple of hours. It put me on my butt for the rest of the day just feeling super crappy and tired and not wanting to eat or move. Next morning I was fine tho.
