My dystonia symptoms are pretty much gone! But the bad news is that I'm not on an AP now. I guess we`ll have to wait till the 8th to get some answers. I just hope I can still sane in the mean time.

All the best 99fairies. I hope on the 8th you'll have a good action plan set up.

I once had a dystonia very briefly from a 1st generation antipsychotic called Navane (Thiothixene). I know how scary it can be. But my pdoc took action quickly and it stopped. Yours will likely stop very quickly, too, if it hasn't already.
Thanks for this!

Sorry you've gone through so much pain.

I hope you can find an AP that doesn't cause dystonia. I know that some of the newer meds on the market tend to have less risk for side effects, so maybe you'll get lucky?

APs are just sucky. Love-hate relationship.
Thanks for this!

i should not have made this thread. my pain is back. but i had 5 hours pain free so that does mean something. hopefully it gets less as time goes by. im just hoping the zyprexa is not causing the problem since its the only thing i can use.

You were asking about prevention lines the other day. Did you call one? Did it help at all? Can you tell your husband and make sure you’re not alone tonight?
Thanks for this!

Whenever you do, think about how you are the best mom and your family needs you.

I had thoughts once that my family would be better off without me. I was wrong!! My mom ended up needing me to take care of her, and what would my daughter have done without me when her dad passed away?

Your circumstances will be different than mine, but your family will need you so much for all the many things you will do for them!!

I know you love them

Please if you are feeling Sui then I would go to the hospital because plans just make it worse!

Talking on from experience and because truly honest like myself I acted upon my plan and ended up in the hospital! But that's because only after I called for emergency services to come and get me.
I have bad relations with my mother and she just asked me why did I call what was the point in it?!?!? I said I don't know I knew I had to call I knew somewhere inside me didn't want to wake up on the floor somewhere, unconscious!

Just goes to show u that either A I did the right thing or B maybe I need to be seen by someone other then a doctor and a psych nurse! They released me and I stumbled outta there and didn't remember very much and was grilled by mother who picked me up!

Anyway it's not me it's about you please don't end up like me!
