Things have become a little dark on PC. I don't mean to minimize anybody's pain, but a lot us are spending too much time dwelling on negative thoughts. So, I thought perhaps we could start posting some happier thoughts and experiences. Feel free to post anything, as long as it's positive.

I'll start by saying that I watched a video on Youtube that explained the four main principles of Taoism. They are gentleness, natural sincerity, supportiveness, and reverence for life. I found myself really feeling the power and peacefulness of these qualities and have already tried to incorporate them in my life. My wife and I are dealing with an extremely complicated and stressful family situation and these ideas are helpful. They make me feel good, and I am going to learn more about them.

That's it for now. I hope many of you feel the way I do and participate.

Good idea!!

Sometimes we have to just be proud of our own accomplishments. I recently accepted a new job and I start next week. Not everyone was excited because it's part time but i don't care I know how hard Ive worked to get here and no ones gonna make me feel inferior!

I've been struggling with dystonia for a few months now, but the last few days I've felt fine! It's going away! Great idea for a thread!

I have lost 25#!

I have recently been fairly stable and my "parking spot" is on the up side of moods. It's been almost 2 months since I have had any episodes other than slight euphoric hypomania.

I got really good results from my new med combo. It knocked out my anxiety, depression and SI. Looks like I finally got my miracle.

I have decided to simplify my life. For starters, I just put my small sailboat and skiff on Craigslist. I don't use them anyway and I'm tired of the complications they bring. I'll stick to fly fishing as my outlet from now on. It's a simple sport. All you need is waders, a fly rod, and some woolly buggers. Sometimes its nice to use a kayak, but that is about as complicated as it gets. Last Friday I went to a local pond and caught seven or eight beautiful rainbow trout. What a wonderful way to spend an afternoon.

Thanks for this. I love reading the positivity! I had a friend tell me the other day that ylang ylang is good for helping depression and anxiety etc. That is my favorite essential oil I own so I started using it and now my life smells like a fairy tale all of the time(even if I didnt shower for like 4 days lol)

Your fishing trips sounds awesome!!

I want to get a kayak next year around May when it gets warm. Im in kayak heaven up here in the Pac NW but never had one and dont know where to start. Im moving like two blocks from a lake and think an inflatable one would work, but so scary!
