Too Big Brother for me. I would consider using it for my own information though, like my smart watch.

If they're afraid of pills, a better alternative than some digital pill would be for them to get the shot of whatever antipsychotic they're on.

That can work, but not many antipsychotics have depot versions. Also if you have a problem with the drug, you're stuck with it until it runs out (How long that is depends on the dose, but at least a month I'm thinking.)

And this would be me. I don't take my meds sometimes not because I am purposefully non-compliant (except the Risperdal I take every other day because everyday would turn me into a zombie) but because I honestly forget. I am great at taking once a day meds, but once you throw in twice a day I just don't stay on a consistent of enough schedule to take meds in both the morning and evening. People have told me about phone alarms, but I am afraid it will go off while I am out somewhere.

As far as this pill goes, it would make me more compliant because I want to be the "good student" and show how great my grades are in medicine taking. . But overall, it would just make me even more resentful because I "had" to take it. It would cause me to push against my illness even more, hate it even more, not accept it even more. Already a huge problem for me. So though the medicine would be taken more regularly, it better be a miracle drug because it would psychologically mess me up in so many other ways.
