I've been having problems with memory, especially short term. I sometimes start to say something and then I totally blank out. Or if I'm doing a task at work and in the middle of it I forgot what I was doing for a good 15 seconds if at all.

My lithium levels are elevated from the last labs (1.2), but it shouldn't causing these problems. I'm at a 1.5.

I went off lithium for a day and my other symptom (hand tremors) have diminished significantly

Also having a hard time spelling, and it appears to me that I am experiencing teeny tiny hallucinations.

Just got a call from the pdoc. He's going to wean me off lithium and see it helps. If he doesn't, we'll work with the buspar since that was the last drug I started before the memory problems occur.

Right now, I'm having a lot of trouble typing.

Anyone else have these problems with any of your drugs?

I don't have the tremors, but I know its common with lithium. I do have memory issues and hate it!

Buspar actually blurred my vision so bad I thought I desperately needed to new glasses. I couldn't drive.

I left something out. i seem to be having hallucinations lately. Not quite sure. Never had one before. Some pictures of people look like they are moving ever so slightly. A sock on the floor this morning did as well. The carpet it was on also appeared to wriggle a bit.

Does that seem like an hallucinations?

My pdoc said that if things that are already there just start moving around it's called visual disturbances. If you are seeing things that are not really there, that is a hallucination.

I went toxic at 1.5 and had hallucinations. I actually ended up being hospitalized it wasn't just because of the lithium though it did not help.

Ok, that's helpful. And I'm going with visual disturbances. I'm very sensitive to medicine. It wouldn't surprise me to learn that I could be toxic at that level.

So what other symptoms did you have and were any of them permanent?

blurry vision, very shaky, extreme thirst. None were permanent I am on a lower dosage of lithium and am fine. My blood serum is between a .6 and .8.
