Yeah I was sz, than szaffective, now bipolar with psychosis. I never thought I was sz though really fought that one. I'm happier with my bipolar with psychosis diagnosis but I feel like szaffective is more true to form.

My pdoc changed my diagnosis to sza once he registered that I was having psychotic symptoms without mania. This had happened before but I think this time things were just a bit more clear. I was more open about my psychosis. The problem is that I get paranoid when psychotic and don't trust anyone with the truth so it makes it hard to diagnose and treat. Now i think that the psychosis may have driven the mania rather than the other way around.
