My Tdoc thinks I should go to the hospital because of sui thoughts due to my horrendous pain. But she also fit me in to see him on monday instead of the 14th. So I'm just gonna endure best I can till Monday and then HOPEFULLY he'll be able to help me.

This is a lot to endure. No relief? Wow.

Have you had other pdocs give an opinion on the dystonia while IP?
Might a "movement disorders specialist" (a specialized neurologist) consult?

I am concerned mine may become permanent.
I currently want other opinions.

Thinking of you.

Bless you.

I second seeing a Neurologist as WC mentioned, it might lead you to a suitable med or a big decrease in symptoms.

I know how chronic pain can lead to suicidal thoughts I have gone IP numerous times because of my pain. I think it’s BS to need IP because pain triggers so much.

My heart breaks for you

You are so much stronger than you think.

No relief. I saw my pdoc today and he wants me to split up my geodon so I'm taking it 3 times a day instead of it all at night. He said it will keep the levels from spiking and help with the dystonia. I'm not convinced, but I'm not the doctor. We'll see how it goes. I just don't think he realizes just how much pain I'm in.

He may not realize how much pain you are in, that's probably true.
Let us know how you are doing?

I've barely been able to move, so I've been laying on my left side mostly. I started to get what looked like bruises all over my rib cage and it was swollen. I showed pdoc today and he said my blood had started to pool from laying down so much. So now I've been sitting more, but it hurts worse to sit.

I was worried about blood clots too, so I'm just trying to push through the pain and do a few chores during the day. Hurts like hell and I move around like a robot in slow motion, but it has to be done. Better to be in pain then die from a blood clot!

I decided to set a timer for 1 hour so I can just rest for that hour. Then get up and set it for half an hour where I move around and do chores for that 30 minutes. That was my plan until all 3 of my kids woke up sick today. Now I'm lucky if I can get 10 minutes of down time before someone needs something. Oh well, at least I'm moving around.

I have had almost total relief from my dystonia today. I will have times when it feels better for a few hours and then kick up again. But I'll just be grateful for my pain free morning! And I was actually able to clean my house. Felt good.
