I feel overall ok with the lamictal working its way out of my system. I do have two issues.
1. FREQUENT urination now. Every half hour, forty five minutes tops, all day and night? Not small amounts either, which leads to massive thirst. I had half a glass of water last night total between 9 PM and 7 AM. Anyone else coming off lamictal have this problem? This is very much interrupting my sleep which could be part of what's causing the next thing.
2. A desire to mess with people. I found a site for something that I don't have a problem with, and actually kind of do support most of their views, but I can't stop myself wanting to mess with these people. I closed my account and they sent me an email telling me there's a new message. Bam! I went right back in. I sent everything to spam. They still got an email through. So I went back in. I've deleted again, removed all their mail, cleared spam, and removed my account from my Google account and browser. Let's hope that's it.
I haven't messed with anyone else outside of that site and I'm hoping I won't.
The good about coming off lamictal, I feel fairly sedate and have been able to learn a few new things today. Nothing big, but a few things the same.

Wow! How much and how long? I’m going to start coming off it tomorrow, over 10 years, and 300mg a day, titrated up for birth control.
Why are you going off it and are you going off medication all together?
+++++
A supervisor accused me of pushing his buttons and I talked to my t about that today.
++++++
I thought button pushing was a personality disorder thing not a mood disorder thing. I got treated for my personality disorder a long time ago.
++++
I have so much to say in response to this post...

I was on 400 mg lamictal daily for over 10 years. I'm not coming off everything. I'll still be on another mood stabilizer and an AP for sleep plus thyroid meds. Insurance refuses to pay for lamictal. I can't afford it, and SSDI isn't a gold mine.
There could be a personality disorder but really it's when I'm looking for endorphins I start pushing buttons. Feeling "sedate" could be indicative of that. I start craving feelings of any kind and I'll grab for whatever. This is where a lot of bipolar people turn to see, drugs, whatever.
Anything more you can and want to say, go for it. If it ticks me off or --and more likely-- confuses me, I'll let you know. If it's insightful, I'll be appreciative.

I had and treated a nonspecific Pd. Before it was dx and treated ppl on the internet would accuse me of being manipulative.
I’m very angry at my sup for saying that in front of my other sup on the floor in front of customers.
I suppose I could talk to our manager about it but we are a family and I don’t want to rat. I won’t win either, the sups like to portray me as someone who argues and doesn’t listen and I’m powerless against that.

Thanks for the update. I wondered what was up with your activities, but not a big deal really.

I've lost 5 pounds in four days, from fluid I imagine. Should I be worried?

No, literally anyone can lose up to ten lbs in the first week of “dieting”or lifestyle change. It’s almost always fluid loss.

I'm choosing not to be worried. It's finally slowing and I haven't had to pee every hour today.
I swear I feel better off lamictal. I feel like I'm "waking up from a terrible dream."
Anyway.
I got a call about the bloodwork. Those were not accurate results. I have to have it redone. Nice. There was an error somewhere.
I'm debating whether to tell my pdoc that I'm off lamictal. I don't see her specifically. But, if I'm not doing so badly, do I need to? I could just tell my T and he'll put it in the charts. She might or might not see it. Dunno. I'm not hiding that I'm off it, I just feel better off. My insurance will not pay for it, even though I've been on lamictal for over 10 years, not even with a preauth. They aren't paying for it for anyone in that plan. New insurance this year, new rules, new a-holes.
Do I still get a note in to my pdoc?
