After being stable for 7wks I’ve now got a elevated mood with a high degree of irritability. Doing all the right things and still..
P***ed off. Saw my pdoc this morning and my Seroquel has been ramped back up for a week at least. She’s also scheduled times for me to take my diazepam (normally it’s a PRN and I take it approx once a month). There’s too much on this forum that triggers me so I’ll back off until at least the irritability decreases. If I read one more person is stopping meds suddenly and wondering why stability alludes them, I will likely become nasty. |

Take a break. Get some rest. Be gentle with yourself.

I am also irritable and finding that this forum is pissing me off a little. I too should take a break until I am less angry. I am not very sympathetic to people right now. I support you in your decision and I hope you find stability again soon!

I think most of us are a self-destructive lot of people. This includes myself. I sometimes get a little agitated about some posts her on this website. I do sometimes take a break from PC. Still, I always find myself drawn back to this website.

Yes, I totally agree with you. I have had my moments being here on PC and being really frustrated with some of the posts I see, especially when people take themselves off meds without a pdoc's approval and then complain why things are falling apart. It's a tough thing to see, so sometimes if you need to take a break, do so, and take care of yourself.
Also, I would like to point out, that there is A LOT of things on the internet that can be triggering, so much anger and hypocrisy that can really be damaging to someone struggling, so what I have been trying to do, is just immerse myself in some books, prayer, and things to help me improve as a person and just shut off the computer.

I can't agree with your insights more. I've often thought it too bad that people don't share their happiness when between episodes more frequently. In fact, I sometimes read of people who are disappointed that they feel "normal." While this might be the case for them, I'm afraid I don't understand it.

At least that's my interpretation of it, from a personal point of view. To me the fact that I have lost my spiritual connection with God, has hit me REALLY hard, and its due to being "normal" on my meds.

I've never gotten triggered by this site, but I do see how some people can find it triggering. I am guilty of only posting when I'm very unstable. When I'm doing well, I don't usually start threads.
