I decided to cut and color my hair. Just highlights but maybe it'll make me feel better. I used to be blonde and was for so long my natural color throws my mom off. Back to blonde.

Go with any color YOU want, it’s your hair. Doesn’t matter if your mom likes it or not.
Enjoy your new hair !

I've been blonde for a while as well. Otherwise I would have salt-and-pepper colors. I tried the latter for a while and I didn't like it as much.
I was talking about making it all silvery gray, but my hairdresser would have to bleach my hair first and then add the color. My hair is already dry and two processes might make it break. I think I'll just stick with blonde. |

Getting your hair done is a wonderful form of self-care. I always feel good when I get mine done. I keep my hair sort of medium-length (a bob with bangs). Naturally it's super wavy (some say it's curly), which I like a lot, but it's nice to have the stylist drying it flat and flat iron the sucker. Taming my main is serious work! I'm not blond, though I was as a kid, but I have light brown hair that I get light highlights put in. It's true that lightening it up can really make a difference.
