This is my last post about dystonia. I can't keep bringing it up as I'm sure you're all getting sick of hearing about it. I just feel so depressed today. I can't keep living this way. I feel like I die inside a little bit more every day. Waking up is almost impossible... I literally mean it, getting out of bed is so painful, sometimes it's almost impossible to do without help. I don't want this thing to beat me, but I don't know how much fight I have left. I'm done with the whole thing. Now I know why so many people with chronic pain end up killing themselves. I'm not seriously considering this. I'm just saying I don't blame people who just give up on life under such unbearable circumstances. I'm so desperate for relief.

Do you know what meds are causing dystonia? There's got to be something. What symptoms would you have if you stopped that medication?

All AP's do this to me. Without them I am seriously psychotic. I can handle the pain when I have my side effect med but there will be no more produced for an entire year. Drug companies are loosing money and just shutting down. And the rest just can't keep up with the demand.

Lithium is a good question. I’ve been started on it recently. It’s supposed to augment antipsychotics too so not as much is needed

I know you went off a psych med because of weight gain and you were able to lose it.

Maybe it’s worth another go? Weight gain is terrible but if it can help you ?

Many gentle hugs

About a week ago, I went down to the lowest therapeutic dose on the Geodon. I have to wait for my higher dose to leave my system to see if this dose causes me as many problems. In two weeks I get my side effect med shipped from the states. I have 2 months worth. So if I can wait till it comes, it gives my body plenty of time to get the higher dose of Geodon out of my system. Clear as mud? good.

I just found out it will be more like a month till my side effect meds come. I am trying so hard to keep it together. But I honestly don't think I can last another month.

You can and you will. I'm scared too, all the time, but it will get better. People keep telling me that and with bipolar people, it undoubtedly will. We have something the boremals don't, cycles!
