does anyone have any experience or information on mild hypomania / sub-threshold bipolar?

I never feel physically energized but my brain races & I feel adrenaline in my body - a feeling like I have had too much coffee even tho i’ve had no caffeine

I have periods of being overly talkative & needing to get the energy out that I’ve attributed to anxiety or ADD & periods of irritability that I’ve attributed to hormone fluctuations

i’ve been diagnosed with depression & anxiety & adult ADD in the past

I reacted poorly to all 6 ADD medications - they made me feel more jittery

any guidance / feedback is appreciated thank you
Hugs from:

Bipolar NOS perhaps? (DSM 4 -not sure what it is in DSM 5) Are you working with a psychiatrist?
Thanks for this!

Yes, talking to a pdoc is the answer. I mean have you been officially diagnosed bipolar by anyone?

Have you tried strattera for ADD? It does not make you jittery; it works in a completely different way. It doesn't work for everyone, though. It helps you stay focused if you have enough motivation to try to.
