Yesterday I spent 1.5 hrs in the swimming pool. Today I am going to walk to the CVS to get cleaning supplies and dental floss.

Elliptical just over half an hour. Then I did a very bad thing. I sat down and did nothing for 45 minutes before yoga. I could barely move in class.

Ended up not walking to the store because I decided to do laundry, but the laundry room is rather far away so I did log some walking.

Tomorrow is yoga and Monday is swimming again.

I walked 4 miles Slow pace, not power walking. I love walking in the early morning, right before sunrise (plus, while it may be humid, it is not a million degrees outside just yet!).

Friday was a rest day. On Saturday I went out bowling for my birthday, but otherwise it was a rest day too.

Today I just finished a HIIT/Core workout, 39 minutes total. It was very challenging, even with modifying some of the moves! Feel a lot better now than before I started the workout.

This past week I did a workout on 3 days, got over 10k steps one day and over 9k steps another day. Not too bad, but I could do better!

I walked this morning for a bit in the biting cold. This afternoon I walked to the gym, got on the elliptical for 328 calories in 32 minutes, and then walked home with a stop at the library. Had some fun with the new Porsche coffee table book that's in English, French and German, and learned I can still muddle through a lot of written French. I'm about 600 steps from my goal and don't think I'll make em. Physically, the cold is a hurtful thing.

Yesterday I quit my job which was kind of a big deal, and took a rest day. Today I just finished a HIIT/Lower Body Strength workout, 34 minutes total. I love this routine, even though it is very challenging.

This morning I walked to and from the gym, 0.4 miles each way. I did the elliptical for only 20 minutes, and then stationary bike for 15. Then I went to yoga.
Should I try Pilates or piyo?

Yesterday was a rest day.

Today I did a total body cardio routine, 37 minutes total. It is an intermediate level workout but it still had me sweaty and tired at the end!

Just finished Day 1 of a free 5 Day Challenge FitnessBlender put up quite a while back, 48 minutes total. Today's focus was HIIT and Lower Body Strength. I did the modified versions of most of the HIIT moves and still got a fantastic, sweat inducing workout. I'll post here in case anyone is interested:

Day 1 of 5 day challenge:

This week I did a workout on 5 days. Now that I am temporarily without a job, I imagine I'll have more free time to exercise.

Just finished Day 2 of the challenge. Today was a focus on upper body and cardio, 44 minutes total. Today's workout was definitely easier than yesterday's, but it was still a solid routine.

Just finished Day 3 of the challenge. Today's focus was Lower Body-Focused HIIT and Core, 52 minutes total. My head wasn't 100% into the routine but I still came out sweaty and red as a tomato, so I think it did the trick.

This morning went to the teachers' pension rally, then to the gym for the elliptical and yoga. Going to the other location for Pound and yoga later.

Yesterday was a rest day.

Today I just finished Day 4 of the challenge. The focus was on cardio kickboxing and upper body, 49 minutes total. It was definitely the easiest day for me but I will not be surprised if my arms are sore tomorrow.

Just finished Day 5 of the challenge. The focus was on HIIT/Lower Body Strength, 37 minutes total. The shortest workout of the challenge but it was still tough!

This morning, elliptical and yoga. This evening yoga. I exercised a lot of patience tonight too. Does that count for anything?
