So since we lost an hour cause of daylight savings time, do I change the time of my meds, or keep the same time? I get wonky if I don't take meds at the same time every day. 9 am and 5 pm. I guess technically since we lost an hour it wouldn't matter. Stupid ****ing confusing ****. Why do we even keep this arcane process? It would probably matter more in the fall when we gain an hour. Lame. Cause it's 4 am now and usually if I'm awake at 4 am I take some pain meds, but technically it's 3 am according to med schedule.

From my knowledge, don't deviate from the usual time your body has come accustom to.

Just take them 30 mins early for a few days then flip to whatever the normal times.

I didn't even think about this. I didn't change times. But my doctor says that even an hour ahead or later shouldn't make much difference. I kinda have a habit of that sometimes anyway, so I probably wouldn't notice it. If you do, id say try the advice above.

Almost no meds are going to destabalize you by changing your med time by one hour.
Actually, pretty much no med. Even things that are fast acting like stimulants or benzos... It's just means they'll be fast acting at a slightly different hour. All the other meds have a half life built up in your body that protects you from any change by a deviation that small. |

I think see what works best for you, but for me it is most important to take my meds at the clock time I always do. The ritual in regard to breakfast and dinner is important. 7 am may feel like 6 am initially, but the breakfast is still at the clock time 7 am. Taking meds at breakfast is my ritual. I won't take them lying in bed at the new 6 am.

I take mine at whatever time that I get up.
