I was wondering if this is a good idea or not to get my self more stabilized again. So you guys know I've been having issues sleeping. I barely got sleep for 2 days. I did during the day tho. I think today is going to be a new day. Should I stay up and go to bed at 10:30PM? And turn that into a habit? I miss being a morning person and I know staying up all night will only make you more depressed. What do you guys think? Is it a good start? I have a job too so I feel like I should do this. I also downloaded an app called Up! And Dailyo. Up is a good app that manages your mood swings and keeps track of mania, etc. The app looks legit too. Both apps do. I made it through out the night ok. I'm considering using TheHonestGuys to meditate more to reduce stress. I would love to go to Dave and Busters again and play Tomb Raider being fully aware. Fun game btw. I'm also going to the YMCA soon. And should I take Karate back up? Should that help me discipline my mood swings? I want to try to get back into shape and me more healthy. And every time I took Karate. I fell asleep like a baby at night. And should I start getting out and playing Pokemon Go? They got new Pokemon out. I knew a couple of people that got in shape. My uncle gave me some advice. I want to try to take control over this thing before it takes fully control over me. Thanks. Also my eyes have been blurry. Should I start wearing my glasses more? Would that help reduce the strain? Thanks for being supportive guys. Seriously. I appreciate it. I know I've made allot of posts freaking out. But sorry I think I was looking too much into it. And what do you think of Lucid Dreaning? Since I used to be a lucid dreamer. I hear lucid dreaming can be a problem solving tool. For depression, PTSD, etc. Has anyone used lucid dreams to fight their nightmares?.

Yes, developing a regular sleeping pattern can help you achieve stability. My therapist and pdoc always used to say that to me. Though of course there's no guarantee it's going to work 100% of the time. Yet, is there anything guaranteed to work 100% of the time? Even medication doesn't always work, so take that into consideration, too.

Exercise can help as well. Sometimes it amps me up, though, if I do it too late in the evening. But it can be a nice thing to do to release some frustration or agitation if you have it. It can also help with depression IMO because you're distracting yourself.

My pills don't allow me to have the luxury of dreaming. But I wish you well. Good luck.

I vote yes to exercise, going to bed early and meditation. Healthy food, a quiet/dark room with a comfortable bed/temperature, and turning off electronics at least one hour before bedtime would be good too! Dreams help our subconsconcious solve problems--when we can't sleep well it hurts our moods and ability to concentrate. Dreaming is good (maybe even the nightmares are processing something you need to face?). Way to take control of what you can control.

start with a good sleep schedule ... be regular ... once your body is used to that then add another piece ...sleep schedule .. xanex ... works for me ... breaking my schedule wrecks my sleep ... hope you find a way to rest ...
