I have relatives coming in tomorrow who bully me. They're assholes.

I've been really stressing about it and cleaning up around the house because they always yell at me About it. Last night I started feeling bugs crawling on me when I was trying to sleep. Gah. And today at work I still felt them and started seeing stuff move that shouldn't be moving.

I see my t tomorrow but I don't want him to
Think I'm really sick cause I think it's just stress

I’m so sorry you are so stressed. I used to have toxic in laws who literally drove me crazy. How long are they staying? Can you say you have some sort of physical illness and need to rest? Be honest with your T. They will know the difference between stress induced psychosis and standard psychosis. Either way it is a terrifying experience. I wish I could be there to defend you and not let them hurt you. Hang in there and keep us posted.

They'll just be here the weekend I'm so blessed I was asked to dog sit during the time they're here so hopefully this visit will go smoothly

They aren't invited by me. I live with my grandma and they come stay with her (us). When I am out on my own I won't have to be around them. They bully me. No one takes up for me. She triggers met anxiety so bad. I've been panicking for days thinking of this visit.

Is it just for a day? I can disappear for a day...it would speak volumes of what you think of them...or I’m just a butt that way.

I'm sorry that you have to deal with stressful relatives. I would be honest with your T about how you're feeling. Hope the visit's not too bad.

I'm pretty sure they know how I feel about their visits lol I always get "busy" and don't stick around

I'll be home the night they get here but then I get to pack up! I'm dog sitting for a week and when I come home they'll be gone. I always get sick
Ish when they come

Saw my psyd today. He's a little worried I e been seeing things move and feeling bugs crawling on me but he's hoping, as am I, that when my stress decreases that it will too. He reminded me of our crisis plan and said if I don't feel better by Monday to get in with my dr because I deteriorate very quickly which is so true. I said I don't wanna end up
Ip and I think I can handle this and he said he didn't want me off the deep end either so we just need to really watch it and amp up my self care.

Also...sometimes I see spiders ok...

And today I was driving and saw one on my dash and I freaked and grabbed a napkin to kil it. My psyd asked me to look in the napkin to see if it was real.. I didn't see it when I looked.

For what it's worth, I think you're doing an awesome job at being proactive with your mental health.

It's good you're trying to nip this in the bud. I think you'll be okay because you're doing all the right things.

I don't see spiders, but sometimes I hear and see other things. It is really stressful, I know that for sure.

What does your therapist say you should do when you see a "spider"?

He didn't say to do anything really. He just wants me to call my dr if it doesn't go away.

I am sorry you're so stressed and have toxic relatives coming to visit. That is horrible.

I am glad you talked it over with your tdoc and pdoc. I hope the spiders/bugs feeling and seeing will go away from you. Is there a way you can be around them less? Like do you have a car you can use to go someplace else or a bus nearby? Or even just a walk.

Can you ask him what you should do? Surely there are ways to distract yourself whenever you see a "spider"?

I hope your dr can help if you need to call him. Though if you know you deteriorate quickly, maybe you should call now. Can't hurt to let your dr know what's going on. Worst case, he says, "ok, thanks for letting me know." Best case, he sets up an appt in advance and says, "cancel it if you get better." Then you're guaranteed an appt.

I wondered if I should make an appointment sooner. I see him April 12.

Yes I can get away from them. So far they've been nice.

HB—I’m worried about the added stress on you right now.

Are you comfortable walking away if you start feeling stressed?

I have something ready that I use—I’m getting a migraine and I need quiet and rest.

What grounding skills do you use?

Don't give up on the psychiatrist calling you. Sometimes my doc calls me after 7 pm from home. He says 5 minutes on the phone goes a long way so he happy to call me back even if he is on vacation. I would never take him up on that because his time off is well earned but if I had a choice of talking to him or going for a psych evaluation I would call him. I want the hospital to stay in my rear view mirror.
