My pdoc and I are reducing my Wellbutrin from 400mg/day to 300mg. How soon can I hope to feel any difference? Today’s my second day at this dose.

Thanks.

What difference are you hoping for? Has it been causing any problem?

I think it's the reason my hands have been so shaky for the past year or more. I can recall neither exactly when the tremors started nor when I started taking the medication thanks to ECT, but I believe the two are connected. So, as you will have guessed, I'm hoping that cutting the dose by 25% will reduce the tremors in my hands.

Hmmm, I've not experienced that issue, but I hope someone can jump in on that. The only thing I've adjusted dose for is getting too wound up or, more often, agitation. Sorry I don't remember the response time, it's been awhile...

(Oh, and adjustments went between 300mg and 150mg)

I actually have experience with this exact problem. My hands were really shaky because of the Wellbutrin, so I cut back. The tremors eased up a bit, but my anxiety and depression got much worse. I went back up and decided that the hand tremors were a small price to pay for sanity. That said, I am on 300, and it seems to be enough for me. I hope you'll be ok on it too.
Thanks for this!

Here has been my rexperience. Hand tremors are often associated with APs. ADs like Bupropriin can aggravate this condition. By the way, I understand that the tremors can become permanent.

Only thing I can add is do not cut 300mg abruptly. I went cold turkey two days before going to Disneyworld, thinking it's just anti-smoking pills.
I don't remember Mickey or Mini. Also didn't cry because tears don't come out of my eyes, no matter what.
Probably a 100mg cut will not be much. But what do I know.
Cheers.

everyone is different. i stopped 400mgs/day (sr version) without a taper (not...prudent..) and nothing terrible happened. I was kind of slow and pensive for a couple days, then I rebounded.
Thanks for this!
