2 very sweet and beloved kittens. Funny thing was that I got them just before therapy and didn't have time to take them home so I took them to therapy. My therapist loved cats so she let me bring them in and we did therapy sitting on the floor playing with them.

That was the day I asked if I had bipolar..........

I think I bought my Strat when I was manic.......or it was my 11th midlife crisis. I'm not sure. Anyway, I still like it. It gives me peace when I have time to play.

What about you?
Difficult to say.

I usually end up wearing clothes that I buy, but the ‘multiples’ go into my storage closet (two Apple pens, two Mont Blanc pens, etc.). Most of the stuff was stolen during 5 burglaries last year.

I bought a lot of heavy-duty kitchen stuff that I never opened. Packed away in the storage closet.

I’ll buy anything if I can convince myself that I “need” the items. Even when I know that I’m overspending, incurring real-time debt.

I spent $400 for two (badly tailored) suits, $600 for two new shirts, $300 for a new pen and just ordered a pair of $295 reading glasses.

I didn’t have a way to pay $70,000 in credit card debt. No one could get a judgment on me as my income is almost 100% from SSDI. I’m gonna do the bankruptcy thing next year.

I agree. This reminds me. In the past I have purchased a studio keyboard and several synths. I have not used them since. One of the synths was new for $3000. Another was $1400. And another for $1300. The keyboard was the cheapest at $1200. There are other used synths that I collected which cost thousands more. I even purchased expensive software to use with my synths, including extra hardware. This cost me another at least $1200. All this happened on two buying sprees. I do not know if I will ever get to using them.

For some reason I like having them. Strange. Maybe one of these days I will get music lessons so I can play them intelligently. I would really like to do this. Ocassionally I will set one up to tinker with. Then I put it back in storage for another year. I do like collecting stuff that I rarely use. But at those times it was allot of fun purchasing them.

Do you want to see my collection of synths? I have allot to show you.

The only things I can think of are tickets from Taiwan to Hong Kong and on to Thailand. The experiences were ones significant in my life that eventually led to meeting my husband.
Thanks for this!
