I was wondering if anyone else had this experience with this wonderful drug. I say it's wonderful because it absolutely nuked my depression, though my main worry right now is that it's sending me into no-return mania. I'd say it's hypomania, but I've done too much damage and I'm completely out of control. I got into a minor car accident today because I was completely out of it and crazy on the road.

Has anyone else gotten this?

No, it hasn't caused issues for me.

I had psychosis for a long time while I was on it, but I also had no pdoc to switch me off the med or change the dose. (I was without a pdoc for 2+ months.) But ultimately, my therapist helped me get in touch with a pdoc in the same office and we increased the dose until I felt better. Now the psychosis is gone and I indeed feel a lot better.

But since Abilify and Rexulti are related and since Abilify can trigger hypo/mania in people, it's possible that Rexulti is doing this to you. Have you talked to your pdoc?

If it's a low dose, it can often cause mania. Low dose geodon and risperdal cause mania in me. You need a higher dose.

I left a message with the pdoc, waiting to hear back. But it's good to hear others have had similar experiences on it. My therapist disagrees, but I don't trust her anyway.

I’ve not taken Rexulti but can relate to the rest of what you say.
I had a car accident while manic/psychotic and it was a miracle no one was hurt. At the time I was focused on how pretty my sparkling gold nail polish was and believed no hands were needed for driving.
As I’ve said previously, please consider IP.
