Every since my last relapse several months ago I feel like I haven’t been able to bounce back.. The meds make me feel like nothing (lithium 1200mg invega shot seroquel for sleep 200mg). It’s like I’m in limbo I don’t wanna live but too scared to die. I’m just beat down. How are we supposed to live like this!!!

If you've been on this collection of meds several months and still are suffering, I'd say they aren't working and you're due some kind of change in meds. You don't need to live this way. Contact your doc about writing a different prescription.

I agree with vertigo. See your pdoc ASAP and be honest about how you feel. They may need to add something for depression. You sound depressed. ((HUGS)) I hope you feel better very soon!

One day at the time. Lithium got me out of a three year depression, but created a state of blah.
I wasn't depressed, but couldn't be myself either.

It is my layman opinion the every bipolar sufferer should try an AD.
I never wanted to try one because the horror stories in the 'net.
My shrinkette wanted to try one from the get go. I refused. Specially SSRIs.
Wasted three long years for being stubborn and ignorant. Paying attention to others.
However, It came a time that I had absolutely nothing to lose by trying one.

First AD, Paxil, the big bad wolf that ruins your kidneys and tyroid, did the trick.
What are my kidneys an tyroid worth for if I'm not happy?. To exist?. Suffering?.

I'm doing very good now. Even better now that i'm flushing the lamotrigine/lamictal down the toilet.
It's the toilet that gets blurry eyes, lacks memory, slow reacts, gets confused, and lacks the power to make desisions now.

But everybody is different. I know people here that vouch by lamictal. It's just not for me.

I'm wondering if asking your pdoc if you can lower the Seroquel dose might help. 300 mg is a 'therapeutic' dose (to help with BP) not just a sleep dose. I've (and I'm sure others) have taken far lower doses when it's just for sleep (I've taken 25mg and it's knocked me out). Now, if s/he is prescribing it for BP as well as sleep, then maybe it's an appropriate dose. But please ask your pdoc before changing anything.

I agree with another poster that you sound very depressed. Maybe medication for this might help, maybe therapy, maybe both. Are you in therapy?
Thanks for this!

I'll echo the others about the meds. And I hope you get to feeling better soon.

I agree that your meds are not helping you. You need to be straight with your pdoc and let him know exactly how you are feeling.

Thanks everyone. Feeling better today trying to read up on successful bipolar stories. My pdoc won’t tweak my meds because of my recent episode back in feb so he told me he’s not touching my meds for at least 3-6 months.
