I have taken the next step in my self care plan. After 27 years, I am retiring as a HS basketball coach in about a month. The environment is no longer fun for me and it adds a lot of added stress that I really don't need. In truth, it probably adds to my symptoms (I've known this for a few years now). Coaching doesn't fit with my personal goals, so I'm out. My wife is thrilled so that's an added bonus. What am I going to do with my time? Not coach, that's good enough.

Congratulations on your upcoming retirement! My parents loved retirement. My dad is still loving it (Mom, unfortunately passed away too young). Do exactly what you want, but a hobby or two is good, at least after the initial exhale.
