So, I have been dx with BiPolar II, along with my BPD.
I guess the II represents mood swings that are not the type that rapidly cycle. But lately, I feel as like I could FLY and then minutes later like I am going to crash and burn.
It is exhausting.
Not sure all of a sudden it is up and down like this. Usually I am good for a week then bad for a week. That is my norm.
Anyway, it just sucks for me right now!

Have you tried or considered trying a treatment plan with a reputable pdoc?
There are many different mood stabilizers that can help with this, check and see with your pdoc with which plan or an alternative, that may be of help.
Take care,
DE

I already take Lamictal and Cymbalta.
I don't know what other meds I could be put on.
Any suggestions?

Contact the prescribing pdoc and tell him or her exactly the way you are feeling, they may be able to adjust or change your meds.
I take Lamictal too, but for some people it can bring on mania, while for some it doesn't.
My brother went wild when switched to Lamictal, failed to contact his doc and in time ended up signing himself in the hospital. I always stress that people or their family should call the pdoc if they are not feeling right, etc. cause sometimes meds can do this and need adjustment. Like anything, when the doses or med is correct, can make all the difference for a good outcome.
Lots of luck with this
