Also I’m

Hearing a woman talking and in a house alone.

I just faintly hear her.
That happens to me, usually when manic or hypo. It's usually my own voice, and not being very nice.

Yes. If you don’t know, then it’s definitely a good idea to hold off on getting one. Only get it when you are confident that’s what you want. Though, if you start to feel better in a few weeks or a month’s time and you’re still thinking about it, there’s nothing wrong with reconsidering it. Remember that you have a whooooole life ahead of you and plenty of opportunity to get a tattoo later on if you find out that’s what you truly want, so don’t rush it if you’re not sure.

As for hearing stuff... Is the lady saying anything bad?

Yeah, I've had voices that mumble to me too. In fact, most of my voices are mumbles. Sometimes there are even multiple voices that mumble to each other.

I try to distract myself with music or YouTube when that happens. Even watching the TV helps or listening to an audiobook. Basically, you gotta block out the mumbles with some other sound. I've found it's the only way. Sorry if that doesn't help, but it's a quick fix for me. I put on headphones whenever I start hearing mumbles.

Sorry to hear about the wall sounds. I've heard similar stuff... like bangs, explosions, zaps... They are definitely startling, especially when they happen out of nowhere.

I wish TVs would let you connect bluetooth headphones to them! It seems so simple and easy for TV companies to do... Then I could blast my TV in my apartment without having to annoy the raging psychopath downstairs.

I find that the more I think about the mumbles, sounds, etc., the more they start to bother me. I know it's hard to do this, but it helps me to tell myself that the voices and sounds can't harm me. They can try to scare me, but what are they gonna do to me? They can tell me whatever s*** they want, but they still can't harm me. They're all talk and no show in my experience.

really? maybe I have a sh_t tv then. lol. I tried looking for a headphone jack when I first bought it and realized it didn't have any. It's some kind of "slim," minimalistic design, and it's one of those new 4K UHD ones.

bluetooth would be a lot nicer, though.

so... you could try plugging in headphones into your TV, Hallie, if you think TV would be more distracting.

I don't know those. I'm listening to some very dirty stuff right now, that I won't post.

If you know you're safe, stay that way. If you become unsafe, seek help asap.

I actually owned a couple by The Secret Sisters and I didn't know it. Oh the problems of over 100,000 songs! Heh.
Pokey is different too. Good stuff.
Listening to Paramore's Riot album now. There's one song on there that really stands out to me, crushcrushcrush. That chick can wail!
Stay safe.

Hi Halliebeth, sorry you're feeling scared but glad you're feel you are not in danger of anything. Do you need to see your pdoc since you last saw them? Why do you think your therapist said that. Stay safe!
