My t says I’m “a little up.” Can’t sleep well lately.

Here’s my most recent adventureee:
I was chopping veggies for dinner. Knife slipped and I had a nice gash in my thumb! I’ll spare you the details. But I got three stitches and a tetanus shot.

Right there with you on no sleep and being "a little up" - sorry about your freaking gash! That sounds painful and awful.

I am right there with you. Spent three hours trying to fall asleep. Then, woke up two and a-half hours later, ready to go!! I see that you are not on any sleep meds, @HALLIEBETH87. Did you used to be? How has it gone just doing it on your own? I have stopped all my sleep-related meds--seroquel, ambien xr, trazodone, etc. i did it for good reason, but I find it quite difficult going now, being 'naked.' Totally unpredictable for me. Would love to know how you are coping with this.

Ouch! I'm sorry you cut yourself, HALLIEBETH. I cut myself often, but not to the point of stiches. I hope you sleep better tonight.

I take melatonin actually. I was up from 2:30-7:30am.

Managed to fall asleep around 8.

Ugh, hand cuts hurt so much.

I'm wondering if I'll ever again sleep for more than 2 hours. It's been like this for months; nothing touches it. Gets weird.

So sorry, not sleeping sucks. I'm usually tossing and turning until around 4am, then I finally sleep. Last night I dreamed of sleeping!

I am sorry people are challenged with sleeping issues. Me, too.

That's so cool- dreaming of dreaming! Years ago, I dreamed that my sister and I were being chased and I stopped in the music room and whispered "You get help. I'm going to sleep to get out of this dream."

20mg of melatonin, long acting
3mg melatonin short acting.
100mg of visteril/atarax
and ear plugs
I also take 600mg of lithium and 80mg of geodon and 100mg of lamictal.
most nights I can sleep pretty good.
