I've been off meds for 8 months now. I've had 3 psychotic episodes I managed with kava and niacin. I had a short drinking spell. I had severe anxiety. Lots of dissociation. But I lost almost 70 lbs. I was almost 200 lbs. And 5'5" male. Now 134. Usually around 125. I took 20 mg of zyprexa until January 2019. Before that seroquel. I took 6 meds at once and decided I'm sick of the med merry go round. The thing is, I haven't been very depressed for the last 8 months. Just confused and living in lala land. In debating seeing a psychiatrist again. But I started taking vinpocetine 3 wks ago and feel very good. It's prescribed in many European countries for bipolar and epilepsy. I ordered it online 30mg 2x day. I feel great but today have gone on a cleaning frenzy. I haven't been on this forum in awhile. Just don't know if I'm getting back to hypo or recovering.

I should also mention my 12 yr old cat is very sick and I might have to put him to sleep tomorrow. Idk if this is a hypo trigger or something. But I feel good. Except for my cat, boots.

bewise, it's nice to see you back. I'm sure many here are impressed by or envious of your extremely speedy weight loss. It doesn't sound like you are doing that great mood-wise, though. I know nothing about what you're taking and always have a fear that anything one can buy online, bypassing the FDA, could be snake oil. Be careful!

I'm sorry about your kitty. I know how hard it is to have to make such a decision. My husband and I lost a beloved pet only a few months ago. I am still emotional about it, especially since it was a premature loss.

Also my grandma is doing bad and is confused. And the last 2 days my family and I had been on contact with the state dept, because my brother was in Croatia and we hadn't heard from him in awhile. They found him on an island. He had been bitten by a poisonous spider and is now okay but it's like 3 major stressors in a couple days. I should feel depressed but I'm speedy and looking at a pine tree outside my apartment feels good. I don't think I'm hypo but also idk whether I need treatment or not. I take sam-e and vinpocetine and feel great.

I switched from regular Zyprexa to Zyprexa Zydis and lost 20 lbs without trying over the course of several months. If you can, try Zydis - it works just as great as Zyprexa, but without the weight gain. You sound very unstable and I would get treatment as soon as possible, and discontinue Vinprocetine immediately

Yeah, I was on Zydis for a year or so. It was great.
