Me: They both work in the same office, so about 10-15 mins depending on traffic. However, if it's wintertime and icy/snowy, I may take 30-40 mins to get there because traffic gets backed up.

When I did live with my parents, though, i would take about 40 mins to get there on a good day, or over an hour in the wintertime.

5 minutes by car to my psychiatrist. I could walk there in 45. I could bike, but there's a bugger of hills. I wouldn't want to be sweaty.

It's about 30 minutes by car to my therapist, depending on street lights and traffic.

Do you know what is closer to my house than even my pdoc? A psychiatric hospital and IOP I went to several times. The hospital and one IOP are only a 16 minute walk (2 minute drive). Another IOP is an 18 minute walk away. I walked to these IOPs a number of times. A second psychiatric hospital I went to is 25 minutes by car.

25/ 30 minits to get to my therapist.

20 minits to get to my pdoc. used to be quicker (only 5 minits), but that's when I lived somewhere else.

My T is 30 minutes away from home, but I'm usually on my way there from work which only takes about 5 minutes. My pdoc, whom I see every 4 weeks verifying ECT, is an hour away. The hospital where I get ECT every 4 weeks (although last month it was every week) is 2 hours away through North San Francisco Bay traffic. Oh, the joys of health care.

Ouch! That's rough that they are so far away, BeyondtheRainbow. I hope you enjoy the drives, at least. Ditto to HowdoyoufeelMeow!

It's just the way it is. I live in a very rural area and moved farther away from my therapist when I moved here. I don't want to change so I drive. My pdoc and I have both moved but there is no way I'm dropping her so I drive to her too. Fortunately I don't mind driving long distances. For the last 2 years I worked my commute was 90+ minutes and I drove all day from house to house, sometimes traveling 2 or more hours from home in the course of my day. I do wish my pdoc were closer when I'm driving home at night but I am able to see both in the same day which helps with the driving and it's only once per month.

25 mins to pdoc and T from my place. However, I usually go to my T from my parents house (I stay there one night a week) and it’s about 7 mins from there.

Takes about 6-7 minutes to drive to my PCP. Don't have pdoc or T here. Back in Austin Texas took an hour to get to T as she was on the north and I was south. Had various Pdocs but the last place was only 15-20 minutes by car

About 1/2 hour. 2 buses. Same building for both. That may change soon. We'll see.

Our takes me 45 minutes to get to my pdoc's office. It's not the distance but the traffic at just about all times during the day.

It used to take about the same time for my T when I had one. I no longer see a T.

About 35 mins and one flashing yellow light at our hospital entrance.

I might see a total of 15 cars on the road.
