It happens often to me when I'm feeling high. It's almost like feeling cold, sometimes my heart rate gets up too. But I don't feel anxious or anything, there's clear no reason for this. It gets worse the less I sleep.

I wonder if it's due to the lack of sleep or too active nervous system.. Anyone else experience this?

If your in a mood episode especially elevated our bodies are going to be hyped up so tremors are common.

I can get them so bad at times I just drop stuff left and right.

I use to have it constantly while I was on Lithium it was quite embarrassing as it was so easy for anyone to see.

Do you limit caffeine ???

Yes, absolutely. I have the tremor from meds, but I also have tremor when I feel especially excited. Sometimes it involves my entire body.

Yes it can be embarrassing and I hate to think that people think I'm THAT nervous or anxious when I'm actually not. Or when I'm trying my best to sit still and not even tap my foot on the floor, but then my whole body keeps shaking.

I got that even when I wasn't on any meds, so it's not that much of a side effect.

Yes I try to limit caffeine when I'm hypo or manic but at some point I stop caring and don't make so wise decisions and keep drinking coffee (late in the evening which I normally don't do) for example. When I'm stable caffeine doesn't affect me like that, I've been drinking coffee for a very long period of my life. But I've noticed when I'm not stable caffeine makes the tremor only worse.

Good to know it's nothing to be worried about since my tremor is "natural", I don't have meds that have it as a side effect, at least as far as I know. Guess it's just me being excited then.
