I saw pdoc today. I kept pacing his office when we were talking and told him I keep ruminating about bad memories. I told him maybe my stepmother should have killed me. Maybe I should have tried harder to take my life while in hospital because I tried. Maybe I’d be better off. I told him how panicky I am.

He asked a ton of questions. Then he said stop taking the propanalol four times a Day and start Valium
Twice a day. I got it filled. Here’s to hoping it helps with this panic.

I hope time with your pdoc has been helpful.
I also hope you will find the change in medication helpful.

Take care of yourself, Hallie

Good luck. My only experiences with valium were recreationally, but they were very positive. I hope it all works out. Also, I don't know you but I am sure that the world is better with you in it.

I am so glad you got to see your pdoc, HALLIEBETH. I also imagine the valium is going to provide you with some relief. These things never seem to happen fast enough. Please don't give up. It will get better. You just may have to have a little bit more patience. Sending you positive vibes and support!

I was on propanalol some years back. It helped just enough to hold me together at the time, but it really didn't do much.

I self-medicated with valium years & years ago, when I was in high school. It calmed me almost instantly.

I'm sorry you've been feeling so rotten, Hb. I sure hope the valium offers you some peace.
